Slacks in the Local Entertainment Industry

Our local entertainment industry is facing a major downturn that, indirectly, permits foreign musicians and composers to make their big ways with gigantic hits into the screen. Our very own artists are losing out to these extra-creative beings.A lot of current hits are composed by mostly Indonesian musicians. This scenario has allocated more spaces and rooms for the foreign performers to outshine our locals and draw more dots in the map of our local musical industry. The major question posed here is WHY?Are our very own composers lack of creativity? Are we short of talented artists?Perhaps, the answer is YES.Based on my personal observation,Malaysia does not really possess a long list of talented and born singers.Undeniably, the number of new artists is increasing and mushrooming but the potential ones are very few lots.I shortlist here some evergreen singers with their amazing vocals that may lure the audience and glue them to the seats; SHARIFAH AINI,KHATIJAH IBRAHIM,AISYAH,SHEILA MAJID,NORA,CT NURHALIZA,JACLYN VICTOR,ANUAR ZAIN,JAMAL ABDILLAH&FAIZAL TAHIR.It's rather difficult to find replacement for all these great vocalists.Who to blame?I'd say that all workers in this industry will have to find a formula and mechanism to bring back the lights in the industry. We need a torch, not a torture!

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy but too much of play will turn Jack into a 'buoy'.Education is the greatest asset to a nation and is vital in nation building. The drop in ranking by some local renowned universities is a concrete evidence of a gradual deterioration of our educational system. The MOHE has to take some drastic actions to overcome the recent situation in its effort to promote Malaysia as an Educational Hub.Education is a mirror and a reflection of a country, as well as a yardstick in measuring its capability in upgrading the system of education and bring it to the eyes of the world. The MOHE,too, needs to place its priority and focuses on the baby-universities like Selangor Industrial University in order to help these babies to grow and walk together with other established institutions. To some, the rank is only a number. However, maturity must be in line with the number. The ranking is like a mirror and reflection of a country. It determines the capability of the respective country in ensuring the success of its system of education. It's crucial for all parties concerned especially the students to help improve the standard of our local varsities, so that, they will, too, stand as tall as other world top universities.A formula or mechanism needs to be designed to meet the demands of today's education.

Current Political Scenario

Malaysia is,at present, confronting a tremendous non-lucrative impact with the major differences of minds among local politicians, which creates a negative scenario that will bring a non-secured feelings among its residents. Furthermore, the particular situation is made worse with the recent hike of the fuel price that is very costly to the life of average Malaysians. This intolerable situation will cause a dreadful bargain by each major race in this nation if it is not cured instantly. As a loyal citizen of this lovely country, it's been my ardent hope to witness a continuous peace and prosperity amongst its multi-racial communities.I would like to make a pledge to all parties concerned to respond to the current traumatic situation in a positive manner and scout for multiple ways and means, to preserve the independence of Malaysia, our beloved country.
