All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy but too much of play will turn Jack into a 'buoy'.Education is the greatest asset to a nation and is vital in nation building.The drop in ranking by some local renowned universities is a concrete evidence of a gradual deterioration of our educational system.The MOHE has to take some drastic actions to overcome the recent situation in its effort to promote Malaysia as an Educational Hub.Education is a mirror and a reflection of a country, as well as a yardstick in measuring its capability in upgrading the system of education and bring it to the eyes of the world.The MOHE,too, needs to place its priority and focuses on the baby-universities like Selangor Industrial University in order to help these babies to grow and walk together with other established institutions.To some, the rank is only a number. However, maturity must be in line with the number.The ranking is like a mirror and reflection of a country.It determines the capability of the respective country in ensuring the success of its system of education.It's crucial for all parties concerned especially the students to help improve the standard of our local varsities, so that, they will,too, stand as tall as other world top universities.A formula or mechanism needs to be designed to meet the demands of today's education.

yes it is true that our varcity are far behind the institution near to our country, National University of Singapore (NUOS)...
Sad to say but it is a big true that our country leader never has any effort to take the NUOS as an example, no thank to the ego and the bad relationship between both country... we are even eager to send our students so far away to australia although we have the best university of asia just aorund the corner...
We need to restructure back our university and education system...
Of we have an ambitious vison to give seats as many as we can to our students to enter to the univeristy but at least let 3 or 4 university become the primier university which cater only for the excellent student and provide excellent education only... let these university out from any goverment policy that allow enrolment that based on racial justification such as New Ecomic Policy.. Let only the best to handle these university
